played like fuckn shit

I played horrible today. I played WAY too much. I lost WAY too much. I tilted WAY too much, and I sucked way too much (is it one "o" or two "o's" in too). anyways, today was just so frustrating. I played so bad, got unlucky, was tired, and shouldn't of played.

SOoooooo, my goal is 50k in 100 days. Let's break this down a little bit. This means that I need to make 5k every 10 days, I am still on pace. I think tommorow is a new day, and I will turn it around and do good. One good thing is that although it's 1600 bucks, it's only 4 buyins, which is more than normal. thanks

DAY 4

Day 4 was a grinding day basically. I started right off the bat by losing 4 buyins, or 1600 bucks. However, I recovered nicely and at one point was up 1 buy in overall (2k dollar upswing)..... however I ended the day by being up 1/4 buyin, or 132 bucks. It's a profit so I'll take it. Much better than -1600!!!

Also, there was a very tough opponenet at my table who constantly wanted to make moves on me. I settled him down after instant calling him with ace high. He was a pretty relentless opponenet, and really had no fear. One good thing about 2/4 NL tho is that you often see the same opponents over and over. So not only can my pokertracker pick up their stats, but I can note things myself, as well.

50k in 100 days

This is my challenge. I will complete it. I will play 2/4 NL and gradually move up to 5/10 NL, hohpefully. I hope you enjoy following this and I plan on updating daily.

Update

My success has continued in cash games. After 22,660 hands, I am averaging 7.14 bb/100 which is phenominal for 6-8 tabling. This gives me a net profit of $6,490.80. I do realize that eventually I will have a horrible, losing day, and I'm prepared to handle it. Last Saturday I lost $700 pretty easy and it was hard to digest. After that happend, I felt the need to test the waters of 2/4 NL, which was dumb. I need to stay smart, and stick with 1/2 NL until I have obtained about 8-10k in my PokerStars account. I have been cashing out $100 a day so that my account doesn't get too big, too fast.

WEEEEEEE NEW POST

Yeah, I'm going to play a lot of 1/2 NL in the future. Right now, I have logged 18,343 hands on PokerStars. I am averaging a bb/100 of 7.24. My total net profit is $5,310.15 . I am hoping to maintain this. I plan on playing 50,000 hands of 1/2 NL to get an ACCURATE picture of where I stand. I originally planned on doing 20k hands, but I really think it takes AT LEAST 50k hands before you truly know where you stand in NL poker cash games. So basically, I have roughly 30k more hands to complete. My goal is to average 5.5 bb/100 over the total 50k hands. This means I estimate my profit will be approximately $11,000. This isn't that great, but it certainly isn't worth complaining about. Anyways, I plan on updating every couple days, maybe everyday. we'll see...
