Day 4

I didn't get to play very much due to a very shitty internet. I did however play a 25 dollar rebuy where I wasted 177 dollars. It was for an entry into the 650 super satty on Saturday. I lost a pretty big pot all in preflop with Queens against AQ..... meh donkaments.... hate em' or love em'. I choose to hate them; but play them because of the kick ass value they bring to the table if you get lucky and go deep in them. Especially the nightly 150. Anyways, then I played 4 tables of 2/4 NL and my internet was acting slow the whole time. I dropped about 850 there. So; meh, not a very good day. But, you'll have that.

And I almost tilted today and did 5/10 NL heads up. But; I rememberd that I have a goal set and that would just be retarded to play that wtih a 6400 dollar bankroll on pokerstars. It's retarded enough to be multi-ing 2/4 NL with that low of a roll on there. But; I have a lot on reserve so it's not like it's my total BR. However, I quickly decided that the conditions just weren't right for me to win today (shitty connection, ,tilty, very tired, ect; so i got out of the games before it got worse).

Day 3

Today went real well again for what little I played. I logged about 1,000 hands. I decided to try and 8 table 2/4 NL with a 5800 bankroll on stars. Things went better than I could of asked for, and I churned a pretty nice profit in the process. I've had several request to post HH's. I will try to do that in the future. Usuually when I blog it's very late at night, and I always have to get up early for classes, so I don't usually feel like looking through pokertracker for hands, but I will make a better attempt in the future to do so. I also entered a couple 175 dollar double shootouts for the PCA qaulification which I definitly hope to attend in January. I didn't farewell in those, however. But, I did satty into one of them via 5 dollar rebuy (spent about 80 in that tho, lol). Oh well...

Day 2

Today went real well. I am playing good, and running good. That can make for a sick combination; we'll just nickname it "lethal." These guys are clowns at 1/2 NL and they're easy to stack off. The other day I ran so bad and I only lost 3 buyins because I know how to drill this limit.

Day 1

Well, day 1 went pretty good IMO. Before I made up my mind to do this challenge, I even did pretty good for playing over my bankroll at 2/4 NL, lol. Then, toinght, I put in about a 2 hour session of 12 tabling 1/2 NL and finally the cards started turning my way. believe me, the last 5 days on stars I have ran extremely terrible. so it's always nice to play when variance starts evening out. I made about 1700 playing 2/4 NL after 450 hands. And then I made about 1500 after 2500 hands of 1/2 NL. Anyways here are my official stats below.

New Challenge!

setting goals is very important folks. the whole summer I had this goal to make 50k in 100 days. I kinda gave up on it but I got to like 40k after like 68 days and had a bad run, and sorta forgot to keep blogging. Anyways, that's not the point.

The point is that, everytime I played, I thought about not disappointing my readers. therefore, I never played over my bankroll. I always contained myself in the limits my bankroll could handle. And I wrote about my day daily.

well lately, I've found myself being stupid. I've cashed out a ton of money, partly because of the ban on poker, and kept like 6k in there. Then the other day, I decided to 12 table 1/2 NL. I went on tilt. So I said screew it, time for some 5/10!! but, if I had a goal set, that would of never happend.

so to make a long story short, my BR online fell to about 1800. I was going to cash out via check, since firepay dont work, and I don't have neteller. But, I didn't, because I knew sooner or later I'd want to play again. and it would be a bitch gettin money back on stars. so i took a day off, came back. and now my bankroll is back up to 3300 or so.

so i'm gonna introduce my new goal. I'm not gonna make it too drastic. i'm gonna make it something i think I can acheive given that I Can't play as much poker due to college. i'm gonna make 20k in 100 days. I sure as hell hope I can get it before 100 days, but I don't wanna pressure myself and play bad like muddy does when he sets goals.

so yea I think this will help get my game back on track. I've been a breakeven/losing player ever since the beginning of september basically. hopefully i can start making some "new" money instead of the "recycled" shit.

so, you can exppect to see me at the pokerstars 1/2 NL until I have obtained a bankroll of 8k or so. hopefully I survive 1/2 NL with only 16.5 buyins. I thikn I can because the 1/2 NL games are extrememly tight and not aggressive at all, as opposed to the 2/4 NL games, thus reducing variance, imo.

tonight, I played over my bankroll and won at 2/4 NL and 1/2 NL.

I think I will inclue today's results in my first day of this challenge to give me a little confidence boost. thanks and I hope you enjoy.
